Python is a programming language. It’s like human languages, which are defined through the use of syntactic and semantic rules, to determine structure and meaning respectively. It allows us to instruct the computer in a language that the computer understands. Python was designed by Guido van Rossum at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) in the late 1980s. This language was inspired by SETL. In an earlier stage Python 2.0 was released in 2000 then Python 3.0 comes with some features backported to Python 2.6x & 2.7x. In 2022, Now we have the latest version of python which was 3.9. According to SlashData, there are now 8.2 million developers in the world who code using Python and that population is now larger than those who build in Java, which numbers 7.6 million & 6,200 companies are using Python in the real world.

But why python? Because python’s features are very easy & also easier for execution. With Proper manipulation of the command prompt, we can easily make the backend part of applications. It’s an open-source language, anyone can use Python to code. Facebook, Google, Amazon, Spotify, and Netflix like thousands of multi-national companies use Python programming language to make their backend part. If they use python then they also need employees, who understand python programming well so there are lots of job opportunities in this field. Python is undoubtedly the fastest growing and most popular coding as compared to other languages. Due to massive usage and the future of technology, Python is a must-have skill for aspiring IT professionals. An IT person can earn 5–10 lack rupees per annum if he knows python depending upon their work experience. According to the TIOBE index, which measures the popularity of programming languages, Python is the third most popular programming language in the world, behind only Java and C. The empirical study determined that memory consumption was often “better than Java and much worse than C or C++”.

There are lots of advantages to learning Python. It’s a high-level programming language that has an English-like syntax. It’s an interpreted & productive language. It’s dynamically typed and has portability. It’s an open-Source application and has vast library support. Python is used when you have to do something in automation, Scripting, Scientific computing, Data analysis, Data Science, or Machine learning.

Its high-built in data structures, combined with dynamic typing and dynamic binding, make it very attractive for rapid app development. It is also used as a glue language to connect existing components. It is easy to learn python and it has a syntax that emphasizes readability. Therefore, it reduces the cost of program maintenance. Python supports modules and packages, which encourages program modularity and code reuse. The Python interpreter and the extensive standard library are available in source or binary form without charge for all major platforms. It can be freely distributed. You can archive incredible productivity. Since it has no compilation step, the edit-test-debug cycle is incredibly fast.

Now our world is a small village so we need to get advanced and also need to accept advanced programming languages to communicate with our devices & systems. Python gives us the advantage to understand the languages and functions of systems easily with less number of errors. It enables us to create automation in the development of search engines. Python can be a powerful tool in developing natural language processing (NPL). We use a python programming language in the development & research fields of games, OTT platforms, operating systems, Artificial intelligence (AI), Virtual reality (VR), Apps, etc. Python makes the development sector uncomplicated nowadays to some extent.

Now python 3 is going to be compatible soon. It can be run in Windows, macOS, Linux/UNIX, Android, and more. Python got the award of “highest rise in ratings in a year” in 2007,2010, 2018 & 2020. It was the only language to do so four times. Many other programming languages are also inspired by Python design and philosophy such as Boo, Cobra, Coffee Script, ECMA Script/ Java Script, GD Script, Go, Groovy Etc.

According to some CEOs of multinational companies, “coding is our future”. Then why not we take the step from now to upskill our coding under python programming. You can make python your first programming language. It’s a very user-friendly language. It also helps you to increase your logistical approach. Python language learning makes us enable you to join any reputed technical company & you shall be able to earn money more than you think!!!
